What we believe about roofing

A roof is not the place to cut corners. It’s the most exposed surface on the house, the most expensive exterior system on a typical home, and the thing that — when it fails — takes the kitchen ceiling with it. We install every roof the way we’d install one on our own house, because somebody on your block is going to ask whether we did right by you.

How we’re different

The roofing industry has a reputation problem. Door-knocking storm chasers, salesmen working pure commission, quotes that double mid-job, warranty paperwork that mysteriously goes missing — homeowners know all of it. Most of what makes us different is that we don’t do those things:

• Our crew leads are direct employees, trained in-house — not subs grabbed off a labor pool.
• Every quote is itemized in writing. No vague “materials and labor” line items.
• We register every manufacturer warranty under your name and email you the certificate.
• Our workmanship warranty is 10 years, transferable once if you sell. In writing.
• We don’t take Assignment of Benefits or waive deductibles. Both are bad for you.
• We don’t solicit door-to-door after storms. We work the towns we live in.

Credentials

We’re a credentialed installer for all three major shingle manufacturers in the Northeast — GAF, Owens Corning, and CertainTeed. That means we can install their full system warranties (typically 25 to 50 years on materials), and the manufacturer holds us to documented install practices in exchange. Most contractors don’t have any of these credentials.

We’re licensed by the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs as a Home Improvement Contractor under NJ HIC #13VH14090300, registered with Dun & Bradstreet under D-U-N-S 14-393-9675, and we carry general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. We’ll email you a certificate of insurance direct from our carrier before any work starts.

Service area

We’re based in Clifton, NJ, and most of our work is inside a 10-mile radius of our shop. That covers Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Hudson, and Morriscounties at the heaviest, and we take projects throughout New Jersey case-by-case. If you’re in a town you don’t see on our service-area list and you’d like a quote, call us — we’re probably already up there.
